Oven – Quick Guide (Siemens HJ852GEB0M)

1. Turn on the oven

• Turn the function selector knob to choose a cooking mode

• The oven light will turn on

2. Choose cooking mode

• Hot air (fan) – best for most cooking (recommended)

• Top/bottom heat – traditional baking

• Grill – for toasting or crisping

3. Set temperature

• Turn the temperature knob to desired °C

• Typical settings:

  • 180°C – baking

  • 200–220°C – roasting

  • Grill – high heat

4. Preheat (recommended)

• Wait until the oven reaches temperature before placing food inside

5. Turn off

• Turn both knobs back to Off (0)

Helpful tips

• Use the middle rack for most cooking

• The oven gets very hot – use oven gloves

• Fan mode cooks faster and more evenly

After cooking

• Let the oven cool before cleaning

• Wipe spills with a damp cloth
